Standard Acura Maintenance Intervals

Different models will need different Acura services, and other factors, including your driving habits and conditions, will also impact your exact Acura maintenance schedule. However, if you just want a quick overview of what to expect, you should take a look at the following schedule for general Acura maintenance. 

Every three months or 3,000 miles:

• Automatic transmission, power steering, wiper fluid levels
• Engine oil and air filter
• Belts, exhaust, and hoses
• All lights inside and out
• Fuel filter
• Tire pressure, tire tread wear and tear check

Every six months or 6,000 miles:

• Car battery and cables
• Chassis lubrication
• Windshield wipers
• Polish your vehicle

Every 12 months or 12,000 miles:

• Brake system
• Coolant levels
• Transmission fluid levels
• Steering and suspension

You don’t have to roll up your sleeves for Acura service when you can just bring your car to our service center and our technicians will do the heavy lifting for you. However, between visits, you should be doing daily inspections to make sure everything looks right and to get ahead of any potential problems. At least once a month, we recommend that you do these checks as a part of Acura maintenance: 

• Check to see if the check engine light is on
• Clean the interior and exterior
• Make sure all the interior and exterior lights work
• Check tire pressure and tread
• Make sure windshield wiper fluid is filled
