Celebrate Amore at these Romantic Restaurants near Maple Shade NJ
If you’re looking for somewhere nice to take your loved one on Valentine’s Day, consider three of our favorite destinations in the Maple Shade area for a romantic dinner.
Caffe Aldo Lamberti | Facebook
If you want an authentic Italian dish in a welcoming setting, spend Valentine’s Day at Caffe Aldo Lamberti. Aldo was born in a town on the Gulf of Naples and grew up making pizza at his father’s pizzeria in Brooklyn, NY.
With his upbringing and experience, he was well-poised to open his own Italian restaurant specializing in traditional fare with a modern twist.
Their specialty is fresh seafood, prime steaks, and house-made pasta dishes. If you want something light, we recommend the Pennoni Alla Nonna. This pasta dish is served with pork sausage, smoked mozzarella, diced potatoes, baby spinach, garlic, and extra virgin olive oil.
We also love the flame-grilled New York Strip steak, topped with sautéed mushrooms. Enjoy it with the steak cut fries or substitute a side like Truffle Mashed Potatoes.
Due Amici Italian Grill & Catering | Facebook
Due Amici Italian Grill is a popular venue for bridal showers and is well-known for its wedding catering. So, keep them in mind for the future, maybe?
For date night, they serve up delicious Italian food for lunch and dinner using the freshest ingredients. You’ll find a warm, family atmosphere that makes you feel immediately at home. Grab a seat indoors or sit outside by the Koi pond and fire pit!
We’re huge fans of the Mario’s Ribeye steak that’s grilled and served in a lite horseradish cream sauce with sliced portabella mushrooms, grilled jumbo shrimp, and asparagus. They also have mouth-watering pasta dishes like their homemade Gnocchi Merino.
For dessert, be sure to order a slice of Tiramisu to share or one of their famous Cannoli.
Giumarello’s Restaurant & G Bar | Facebook
Giumarello’s was founded by Samuel Giumarello, Jr, who taught himself how to cook at a young age before eventually graduating from the Academy of Culinary Arts. Whatever you order here, you can expect fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, delicious flavors, and aesthetically-pleasing platings.
They cultivate a sophisticated vibe that feels incredibly inviting as you look over their menu of steaks, fresh raw bar offerings, and family-inspired Italian recipes.
One of our favorite dishes is the Wild Mushroom Ravioli. This house-made ravioli is stuffed with wild mushrooms, spinach, sherry cream, and crispy pancetta. We also recommend the Blacked Sam’s Cut Filet, served with au jus, dauphinoise potatoes, and optional caramelized onions and melted gorgonzola.
Wash it all down with a glass of wine or hand-crafted cocktail from the bar.
Make Your Dinner Reservations
If any of the restaurants we mentioned sound like the right place to tell your special someone “ti amo,” make your reservation and give them a Valentine’s Day they won’t forget!
