2018 Acura RDX Packages
When you’re seeking a luxury crossover, and you’ve settled on the 2018 Acura RDX, you’re making a great choice. However, you still have some decisions to make regarding the Acura RDX trim levels, or packages as Acura calls them, and choosing the one that’s right for your lifestyle and needs. At Elite Acura, we’re here to help drivers in Maple Shade, Moorestown, and Cherry Hill learn more about the RDX packages and how they differ. We’ll be looking at the Acura RDX Standard, AcuraWatch Plus, Technology, AcuraWatch Plus & Technology, and the Advance Package trims.
Acura RDX Standard
The RDX carries its engine across all of the trims and packages, but the Standard is the one that sets the bar. It includes a comfortable interior with leatherette-trimmed sport seats with a 10-way power adjustable driver’s seat that’s heated. This RDX package also includes a 5-inch information display, a 7-speaker premium sound system, 3 months of SiriusXM®, and Pandora® compatibility.
The AcuraWatch Plus improves upon the Standard trim, while keeping some of its important components like the seating and media amenities. The main difference between the AcuraWatch Plus and Standard RDX package is Driver-Assistance Technology. The AcuraWatch Plus includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Collision Mitigation Braking System™, and the Lane Keeping Assist System. All of these features use sensors that are mounted to the exterior to measure distance and speed and provide updates and warnings to aid you on the road.
The RDX Technology package adds a lot to the Acura RDX interior, including sport seats with perforated leather trim and GPS-Linked Climate Control. It also adds a lot to the infotainment and media systems, including the On Demand Multi-Use Display™, which is an 8-inch touchscreen with customizable settings. These upgrades also include the ELS Studio® 10-speaker Premium Audio System, Aha™ compatibility, and voice recognition for the touchscreen and the included navigation system that features AcuraLink Real-Time Traffic™, 3D maps, and Traffic Rerouting™. This trim also adds the Blind Spot Information System and the Rear Cross Traffic Monitor.
AcuraWatch Plus & Technology
This package simply brings the best of both worlds with the Acura Watch Plus and the Technology Package into one sleek sedan. It includes the impressive entertainment amenities included with the Technology Package with the driver-assistance features that come standard on the AcuraWatch Plus Package.
Advance Acura RDX Trim
Drivers who are interested in all of the features and technology systems included with the varying RDX packages. The Advance trim includes all of the previously listed, upgraded with the entertainment amenities and the driver-assistance features. This trim does, however, add a few features to the exterior of the sedan, including front and rear parking sensors, remote engine start with vehicle feedback, rain-sensing windshield wipers, fog lights, and auto-dimming side mirrors.
